We have been working on an improvement the last month or so which allows for more space in the cockpit. What happened in the end is that it allowed for us, an easier way to remove wet foam from the early boats that were built by the previous builder. In an afternoon you can remove a fair amount of foam and install this as well. It was a win for everyone.
